There's not enough new sci-fi films like this anymore! It's the near future, believable integrated tech, awesome action, some great kills, interesting characters, a wicked score, kinetic camerawork and a nice ending.
It's got a lot in common with 'Robocop', in that it could be Old Detroit, there's an OCP type company and even a Clarence Boddicker baddie, who's a badass!
I liked it a lot, but some of the acting could have been better, especially the lead, it's not awful, but it definitely detracts.
As I mentioned before there's certainly not enough sci-fi films like this anymore and it's got me excited for the Arrow release of 'Robocop' later this year.
'I'd buy that for a dollar!'
