Sam Meltzer’s review published on Letterboxd:
In 2014 or 2015 (I was like 9) my grandma took me to her friend’s house for lunch and there was a 5 dollar bill taped on a wall there. I was confused on it but never asked because I was little and embarrassed. A few weeks ago, we went back to her friend’s house for lunch and I finally asked why she had that bill up taped on the wall like that. She said that she was in Brooklyn the day of the bank robbery from this movie. And you know the scene where Sonny is throwing all the bills into the crowd? Yeah, she got one of them so she framed it! What a story, right?!
Anyways this movie is phenomenal and Al Pacino was hot mmkay
