Sam Meltzer🏳️🌈’s review published on Letterboxd:
Sofia Coppola’s On the Rocks was a very simple, average and watchable rom-com. While nothing in it felt bad, to me, nothing felt as if it were breaking any new grounds or doing anything too interesting. The acting and writing just feel good enough for me. It was entertaining to watch though, and I can’t deny that a few moments were great. I just probably won’t remember this for too long. As in, I barely got anything out of watching it but if this is your type of thing, you’re gonna be really into it. Disappointed but then again I didn’t expect much either.
