This film goes there. Totally unflinching.

"Wouldst thou like to live deliciously?"
An interesting watch; not really sure it lives up to the hype for me. Arresting and uneasy, but definitely not horror.
The inconsistency in the dialogue between modern and traditional word usage drove me nuts.
My favourite sequences were dreamy exceptions rather than the general rule of most of the film: the woman in the forest spreading blood over her skin, the writhing women dancing naked at the end.
The score was what really stood out to me: creepy and jarring and all of a sudden human, screams instead of strings.
Hey, I know what I’m getting into when I’m watching a Netflix Christmas rom-com. But this was truly terrible. If you need a drinking game that will make you forget how dysfunctional your family is this holiday season, just do a shot every time someone says “prithee” or “quest” and you’ll be waxing nostalgic in no time.
