Perfect Score Rewatch Fest: 14/18
Portrait of a Lady on Fire is the most recent film I’ve given the perfect score to with Parasite only shortly beforehand. There’s so much to be said about this film but I’ll keep it short because I could probably go on forever.
If I were born yesterday and someone told me this film invented the colour of the ocean I would believe them. This film is the definition of beautiful- everything about it is. Every scene is mesmerising, focused and meticulously portrayed.
Silence speaks far louder than words.
Favourite line: “Don’t Regret. Remember”.
