Samuel Spencer’s review published on Letterboxd:
The complex and ever-intriguing characters of Burning are made so through the clever and beautiful way the film is shot, as well as the entrancing performances. It's great to see Steven Yeun play such a mysterious role in his native language, and Jong-seo Jun puts on a stunning debut. Burning is a constant mystery, and despite its ambiguity I feel like I got everything from it that I wanted. It could even be up there as one of the 'greats' in Korean filmmaking.
