Letterboxd — Your life in film

i can definitely tell i have PMS because the amount of tears i shed during this is not normal. give me a week to recover.

denis has such a way with building environments and making you feel like you're living in this world. the sand, the colours, the close up shots of the actors, the SCORE!! it just really set the tone for the entirety of the movie. in saying that, this was extremely long and painfully slow. it's definitely a building the plot movie where it needs to set everything up so the sequels can be more action packed. please ensure you pee before seeing this because you may piss yourself from how long you're staying seated!!!

if my dreams were as vivid as this, i too would go insane.

coming from edgar wright, i expected nothing less than amazing camera work. it really drew you into the story and the lives of the characters. loved this!!

why was this SO good like i experienced the entirety of their relationship in 15 minutes and i am SAD!!!!!

this is honestly one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. there is something that just hits so hard with father/son relationships, particularly ones that are super close.

so i figured it's about time i actually watch all of the marvel films as i've skipped quite a few. but we watching them in chronological order.

starting with good ol' captain steve rogers, this one was definitely a bore for me. the story wasn't that interesting, the only characters i liked were steve and bucky. like they had more chemistry than steve and peggy did like come on. but i'm ready to get onto tony stark babyyyy

the first few episodes were definitely the best. they set up the story really well and every week i would be itching to see the next ep. not going to lie, the last couple of eps were a little underwhelming but it definitely was a great start to introducing the multiverse. love you loki ♡
