Letterboxd — Your life in film

i actually really loved this film in terms of how it represented the influence of technology on mainly teenagers. i liked it so much i read the book too.

jack nicholson running in a hedge maze with an axe... what more can you want?? so suspenseful and i often forget this is a horror film because is relies more on the psychological effects of the hotel.

the only reason i went to see this is because of saoirse ronan... overrated is all i can say

my god!!! this is a film you need to watch several times to take in all the details. and Hans Zimmer absolutely nailed this score

okay so this was a super pretty film and decent acting...

but as soon as I saw they were doing another Jane Austen adaptation.. I was kind of like really? overall, not terrible but probably wouldn't watch again.
