A Ghost Story 2017
Rewatched this for my essay on Death & Dying.
A cute and small film that says a lot about the impermanence of existence, our purpose in life, what we leave behind and grief.
The cinematography is utterly beautiful and the score feels dreamlike yet haunted, much like this film.
There is one section where I feel the message of the film becomes blatantly transparent, but I can forgive it when much of the film is structureless and flowing through different times and environments.
