Some incredible and tight compositions make this so intimate and compelling. Its subtle character developments are a nice compliment to the austere camerawork. The portrayal of the more mundane and monotonous habits we might fall into after a breakup or a deep emotional disruption is beautiful. The neat three acts might seem aloof or episodically but there’s this undercurrent of rebellion and indulging in the dark parts of yourself that ties them all together. Great stuff.

The action is so bad, like it’s choreographed to the score and it’s so cheesy it hurts. It’s like a mid 2000’s music video
The entire politics in the movie made me physically squirm and I had to stay awake for the good part of this movie. Del Toro made me feel a little better but he’s in it for like 5 seconds
This bored me to shit in a way I had no idea a movie could
