gripping. suspenseful. phenomenal.

god i love this franchise so much. when i saw the first one in 2018, it honestly changed the way i looked at cinema. the sound design in both these films is incredible. as i watched the character development and story arc through both of these films, i just became impressed more and more. 

compared to the first one, i believe this film was just as good. plus, i love how the audience got to see more of the monsters in this film, rather than in the last film where there were very little scenes where they made an appearance. i love how this film dove into the tragedy’s they actually created, rather than the science behind them. 

as for the characters, there isn’t one that i didn’t like, which is surprising to me. i love them all especially regan. she does such a good job showing emotion through motions rather than speaking lines. they all performed so well in this film. 

this film was very impressive. i didn’t like the ending…but it’s good to know that there will be a third one. i just love this franchise so so much <3
