    Annie Hall

    ★★★

The presentation of this film is both a blessing and a curse. It’s unique at how it breaks the fourth wall and how it delivers jokes. However it negatively affects how I connect with any character other than Alvy, which isn’t fun because Alvy is a character no one wants to connect to. The script feels forced because Allen thinks he needs to fit in an obscure reference every two seconds, but it only gives an effect of bad writing…

Sesame Street: 50 Years Of Sunny Days

    ★★

While the problems brought up in this documentary are important and should be talked about, the documentary was way too repetitive for my taste. For a documentary that focuses on 50 years of entertainment, over 3/4 of the documentary focuses on the past five or so years. The celebrity interviews are for the most part worthless (Rosie Perez was good). This documentary feels like 2 hours of advertising. A gasping breath from a dying show that is just trying to still be relevant.
