An unconventional biopic following the depression and melancholy associated with being stuck in a seemingly inescapable environment. I didn’t know much about Princess Diana, except for how widely beloved she was by the masses and how monumental and shocking her sudden death was when it happened. But this film gave a ton of valuable insight to Diana that isn’t often spoken about - the more psychological side of things.

It’s been a long time since I intentionally went alone to the theaters and sat in the first couple rows and silently weeped during a film, but here I am. Oddly specific, but those types of experiences are what I live for. What a special and poignant little film! Never thought that Queen’s ‘Under Pressure’ would ever be my breaking point to just let the profound emotions of unresolved trauma pour out of my eye sockets…
