The entire anime aesthetic doesn't ever completely work for me, for some reason I can just never take it seriously, but I did enjoy this more than I expected to. The animation is completely gorgeous from the lush countryside fields to the metropolitan cityscape.

As far as the story goes though, it does add some depth to the body-swap storytelling device which makes for a few laughs and I won't spoil anything but there is a twist halfway into this film that made it infinitely more interesting and it pretty much saved the movie for me (not sure if that's a controversial opinion or not). The ending is extremely satisfying as well.
