spielberg is the master of tearing you apart and fixing you up in the runtime of a film, the man understands emotion in ways most people can't even comprehend, sometimes that can be a flawed, but for this story... the story needs that sense of unvanquishable optimism, it needs that tendency to see the best in everyone. to spielberg, films are always about love, for it is the answer to everything.

extremely fascinating and, for better or worse, a claire denis film to the core. i have always been in love with margaret qualley and this makes my love for her run even deeper. it has a lot of things to say, and that might muddle whatever the message is, but i really dig the chaos, i am not afraid of the uncertainty.
