I loved every single minute of it, from the first scene to the very last. I remember why I loved it back in 2016 and it's even clearer now. This film gets youth. This film gets fucked up people. This film gets the human nature and portrays it almost unlike anything else before. Sasha Lane's turn in this was Oscar worthy and I am shocked she wasn't even considered. Riley Keough and Shia LaBeouf give MVP performances too, but the film is Lane's, as the story is Star's. The ending is probably one of the best things of 2016, and La La Land came out that year.
