unironically the best concept for a movie i’ve ever seen. danny devito, a broke mobster, and arnold schwarzenneggar, a philosopher himbo (??) are long lost twins and discover the meaning of love and family connection together. the dialogue is the perfect concoction of so-bad-it’s-good
go watch this masterpiece with ur friends and enemies for a good time
what the fuck!!! im boiling with rage these women were not simply agents of destruction as a parallel to war or whatever the class was discussing after the screening like that’s not the point!!! they’re resisting everything that’s conventional and upper-class (and also they’re lesbians <3 on that thought im usually not one to armchair diagnose people with homosexual disorder i just have a strong feeling i would act like this if i were in 1960’s czechoslovakia) they’re rebelling !!!…

idk idk but when the main guy (forgot his name) opens the door to that flowery clothing store and sees madeleine around the beginning of the movie it reminded me so much of that one spongebob episode where they’re on the flying dutchman ship and they have to go through the perfume department a number of times
god i wanna watch this in theatres so bad!!! just for the beginning credit sequence alone!!! possibly the most beautiful film (to me!/visually!) ive ever seen
