Scrawler’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film is completely ludicrous in almost every way. And yet it completely works as a highly unusual but effective takedown of the evils of capitalism. Why? Largely because of a stunning lead performance, but also because of an almost aggressive lack of plot and structure, which somehow makes up for a number of face slappingly obvious scenes. Also the lighting was stunning and the use of music was just about perfect. Not nearly enough movies acknowledge the fact that tons of people take great joy in absolutely terrible songs.
