Well... I guess this takes over as the FUNNIEST of all of the Marvel films. (Barely sliding past the "Guardians" films). But this was expected from a Taika Waititi directed film.
And this installment is a HELL OF A LOT OF FUN!
Everyone does a great job and it seems like all of the characters are properly served in the script. Extremely well-crafted from beginning to end. Visually awesome and never seems to be too bloated in length.
Oh, and Cate Blanchett is GORGEOUS as a brunette! Not only does she bring her usual amazing acting talents to the villain role, but she is beautiful and deadly and batshit crazy. (Hey. Kind of like most of my exes. No wonder I dug her). But seriously, she's fantastic and really funny as well. So good.
Also, doing a great job is Goldblum being Goldblum. It's EXACTLY what Jeff Goldblum would be like if he, himself, were indeed a grand master of his own planet. Hilarious and awesome.
Yeah, I don't think there is a weak link in terms of actors here. Even Waititi himself is one of my favorite side characters as the huge rock warrior Korg... who is probably the funniest of all of the characters.
Nothing for me to dislike in this superhero flick.
Pretty much loved it.
