When this all went down I took my Mom's word for it that Nancy Kerrigan was a victim, so Tonya Harding must be a criminal. I didn't care about ice skating or any other sport for that matter. Several years ago I watched The Price of Gold, which gave so much more insight. I wasn't convinced of her involvement one way or the other after watching it, but I didn't really care. I liked her. She reminded me of girls I grew up with, and in some ways reminded me of myself. A little scrappy but tough as tits. I like stories like this. Tonya deserved this movie. The film definitely sways in favor of her version of the story, which I would like to believe is the truth. But even if it isn't, she's still a fucking bad ass.
