i just finished the book yesterday, and, i gotta say, this film does one fine job of doing the book justice. that being said, the film definitely did not capture how psychotic the both of them are, especially amy. her diary entries are fucked up. she’s manipulative and terrifying, ruining several people’s lives for her gain. nick on the other hand is a cheater, and that’s SHITTY. you should never cheat on your s/o EVER. some of the thoughts he had in the book? damn, that was messed up too. did nick get what he deserved? yes, but some of the things amy did cannot be justified, as shitty of a husband nick is. overall, mr david fincher makes god tier movies, what else can i say?
