Sehhaar’s review published on Letterboxd:
This had been the only one of the new Star Wars films that I did not see in the cinema. That is mainly because I could not think of anything particularly new or interesting that it might have to offer. Like many, I do not think that an origin story to Han Solo was really necessary. Nevertheless, the film is entertaining and includes a lot of twists and turns that surprised me quite a bit. Alden Ehrenreich and especially Donald Glover suit the roles of Hans and Landos younger versions very well. The chemistry between these two is the aspect I enjoyed the most in this film.
All in all, Solo is a well-crafted action blockbuster but lacks uniqueness and the “Star Wars Feling“, therefore it is the weakest of the new films in my book.
