Contrary to popular belief, I did like this movie! That first official trailer was a huge turn-off for me as it looked like a cringe-fest of “look kiddos at how hip we are.” Thankfully, there’s some actual substance to this movie with a message about GenZ that is actually quite potent. The acting is very good all around with Rachel Sennett stealing the show. I didn’t think the humor landed a lot of the time and I think direction-wise there was a whole lot left on the table, but this was still so much better than I expected.
