Just a good ol’ fashioned slow burn drama. Moore is chilling here, the cake meltdown actually made me squirm in my seat. Melton perfectly captures stolen innocence, it’s apparent in any shot that features his character and his children. The smoking scene on the roof also sells it. One of my favorite male performances of the year. Best supporting actor Oscar incoming.

Dream Scenario 2023
I had a great time with this one! Cage gives a performance and a half. Visuals were kinda off the charts here too. Just an all around great premise, feels like a movie-movie if that makes sense.
Was happy to see it with Diego who went in 100% blind. Tons of really cool moments.
A lot of this made sense when I saw that Ari Aster was involved in the production.
Grant and Jake would have lost their fucking minds at *that* part. We sure did.
