    I've seen a good few Samuel Fuller films by now and largely had an excellent time with them.

    What stands out across his films is the complete clarity of message and thought that Fuller put into them, even when the topics he's tackling are quite messy to deal with. Run of the Arrow is the first of his that I've seen where it's difficult to really know what he's saying and going for.
