Probably the least personalized Marvel film. Don't really know if the directors knew how to showcase the heroine, which is really a shame since this is Marvel's first female lead film. You'd think that this would be a bigger deal. Writing in some male assholes doesn't make the female lead better, it just makes bad writing stand out more.
Sam Jackson is great as usual, Ben Mendelsohn seems to be having fun, Annette Bening is a Queen, Brie is best when she looks like she's actually having fun, and "Goose" the Cat is legitimately the best thing about this film.
It's fun yet fine time, but I'm just here for the Endgame.
