FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE TELL ME WE ARENT GOING TO REFER TO THE SNAP AS "THE BLIP"
The first half of the movie I would say is borderline boring. It leans more heavily into the teen movie genre, but not in a particularly interesting way.
The Bar scene with Mysterio doesn't even feel like acting, just exposition.
Tom Holland continues to be the best version of Peter Parker. Fight me.
Everything after the bar scene picks up partially because now Jake Gyllenhaal is given room to do something with the character, partially because the movie finally slows down to catch its breath, and partially because Marvel does one of the things that it does the best which is creating interesting and unique fight scenes.
