Shaun Louis’s review published on Letterboxd:
This film is an instant classic. One of Joon-Ho Bong's finest.
It mixes and blends different elements and genres that reminds me quite a bit of Bunel's work and his stuff on upper-class satire but whereas Bunel's stuff turns into more humourous mockery this turns dark and sour quick.
I had such high expectations and was always a huge fan on Bong's work in the thriller genre, "Mother" and "Memories of Murder" are his best works and happily can add this as well to the list, this exceeded all expectations and definitely one of the best films of this year without a doubt.
