Alex Holmes’s review published on Letterboxd:
People are too harsh on this movie. Though it’s the most disposable Star Wars film by a mile it’s also that element which lends it its breezy and fun nature. Feels like one of the better Star Wars novels brought to life and the dual Kasdan penned script is a lot of fun. Sure there are a few too many “this is how X happened” moments (and that cameo is so weird in the movie only world) but there’s also a great cast (Glover obviously is impressive but people give Alden Ehrenreich way to little credit here) having fun space adventures - and it’s a good time.
Also Lando saying Han’s name wrong is great.
