first North Korean film that made it past the border in a decade, co-written by Kim Jong-Il himself (*cough*) - a mixture of the german homecoming schmaltz of the 50s and an educational movie for grown-ups. moronically grining and happily saluting this is celebrating family as core institution to stabilize the nation. many cogwheels are more important than great deeds and installing novelties into society. jaw-dropping trash in paper mâché.
