#20 Spooky Watch ( Check out my watchlist and join me in my spooky journey )
Cabinet of Curiosities Episode 5
QUICK THOUGHTS:
Ben Barnes was great here, his performance really elevated this slow burn Lovecraft tale.
The story is amazing and the set up is really intriguing but the last 30 minutes rushes itself into a undercooked or burnt ending.
The Production design and cinematogarphy looked amazing just like the previous episodes and the performances all over were amazing.
The paintings and few practical effects looked stunning.
In order to care for what happens to certain characters I needed something strong to invest myself in but that was lacking here.
A solid attempt and it managed to keep me engaged till the end but that's about it. Wished it was something more.
A 69% for this.
