One of the sweetest movies I've ever seen and probably my favorite romantic comedy of all time. The first time I watched it I vividly remember hysterically laughing and crying out of sheer happiness after "the end" appeared on screen, I guess the whole thing just hits a lot harder if you love Jimmy Stewart.
I love the vivid colors, the religious imagery, the music and basically every second Sissy Spacek and her big, wide — and sometimes awfully off-putting — eyes are on screen. This is definitely one of my favorite horror movies, and while I do like the first chunk of it, I can't deny that what makes the film so effective and compelling to me is mainly the last act.
