Shritan’s review published on Letterboxd:
Sandler's cut-throat presence is a slime dripping across the screen, wildly hungry to slither out of that box. There's a pettiness and volatility to him that settles into the vulgarity of the Safdies' world so damn well. I was pushed to the edge by every sparkling/grimy fuck-up of their swindling, dirty symphony and felt completely baptized in their piercingly hypnotic soundscapes. My favourite hallmark of film directing that the year has to offer.
