I think this might be Wes Anderson’s best film. I really like his animated stuff as well, I rated grand Budapest hotel highly when I first saw it but it’s been a few years and even though I think all of his films are actually stunning, they’re just boring. they really don’t make an impression on me. 
The Royal Tenenbaums follows a few interesting characters, rather than a boat load of boring ones, and I liked the narration and pace of this film
