It must be shocking to see someone logging this film for the first time. I grew up as a squeamish kid, I could do blood, body gore but jumpscares were a big turn down. It wasn't until a year or more ago that I realised I can finally do jumpscares so here we are.
This film is iconic in all its rights. The intro scene is one of the all time greats and as someone who never watched this film, even I was familiar with it. The film relied on the simple idea of defying the generic horror expectations, to call it out and create its own twists along the way.
