This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

a beautifully animated, unbelievably sweet and surprisingly realistic portrayal of foster care, a subject very close to my heart, that is rarely portrayed in media for some reason.
every child and every adult would benefit from watching this film.

although, i think my social worker is the last person in the world i would want to adopt me. i do not know one person who's had a good relationship with their social worker. that aspect was definitely unrealistic.

i have probably seen every bit in this around 86 times, but i'd never watched it all the way through until today. man, my throat hurts from laughing.

#17 "watch a silent horror film"

one of the reasons i'm enjoying my first scavenger hunt so much is that i'm watching films i never would've watched otherwise.
silent horror films are not exactly on my radar, usually, but i really, unexpectedly enjoyed this!
i can't wait to continue with the scavenger hunt, and future scavenger hunts, and discover more films outside of my comfort zone.

(not comfortable giving a numerical rating, because i really haven't seen anything like it at all, and have nothing to compare it to)

#14 "watch a film produced by brad pitt"

i don't think there was one scene in this entire film where i wasn't holding in tears- apart from the end, where i was actually crying. beautiful in all senses of the word.
