this is my first 5 star of the year

bong joon ho will never not amaze me for how beautiful and indulging his films are. i have a really hard time getting into foreign films, and i remember right before i watched Raw one of my friends told me it’s barely noticeable that it’s not in english, which i felt when i watched it and i felt watching this at times. bong’s writing is so fucking funny it will never not make me laugh. i love this man forever. 

if this man doesn’t win director i will personally start a riot in the streets of my tiny canadian city.
