Started this at about 11:30 last night and watched through until 1:30am. Still mulling it over. Feels like a fever dream.I can totally see why this is lost on some (Mel Gibson) but I thought many aspects were beautiful.

I am a line cook. The food service industry is quite literally my bread and butter, and has been for 7 or 8 years at this point. I have worked in fine dining, fast food, a pub, a sports bar, a pizza parlor, a dinner club, and a creole restaurant.

Love the production on this one. The problem is that the story is so generic that I literally couldn't tell you the plot right now. I watched it last night. Read the Letterboxd plot summary. The film's is nearly that generic as well
