• Antlers

In the very beginning of this film it’s a tad bit slow and all be it boring. BUT, once it comes to the point where the teacher & principle go to the home of the kid it starts to pick up.
The evolution of the beast is nice & when you get to actually see it, it’s design is beautiful! Twisted & demented, nasty & vicious is what it is. Although the look & feel of the monster was nice, there were some missed opportunities…

  • My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission

In all honesty, this movie isn’t anything to brag about. The second film from MHA set a standard than NEEDS to be met when it comes to new age anime movies! The action was very lack luster & the story was a bit boring, the enemy in this film was pretty cool and the last “big fight” was fairly good seeing deku go full throttle (not 100%). All in all, it could’ve done more with action. It just felt like it was missing something.

  • Kill Bill: Vol. 1

    Kill Bill: Vol. 1

Kill bill vol. 1 is just a draw dropping and intense film from start to finish! Some of the best hand to hand and weapon combat in film to date. Even from the scenery to it’s story telling this film by Quientin Tarantino is by far in my top 5 from this director! He just NEVER misses the mark from creating such badass characters with depth. The overall cherry on top for me from this film would be the introduction…

  • Gangster Squad

    Gangster Squad

One of the last couple of gangster movies that is actually badass to watch. The storytelling is easy to follow, scenes & cinematograpghy is nearly perfect with beautiful shots & the casting is so fitting you easily connect to the characters. I highly recommend if you enjoy gangster flicks & if you love action movies because there’s plenty in this movie! A powerhouse of actors & each one delivers.

  • The Conjuring

    The Conjuring

Overall for me it was a 3 1/2. Movie was solid all the way through and the scenes where the witch came up were good. I just can’t get by when the acting gets a bit too theatrical & it crosses a line of cringe. But none the less, story was solid, little easter eggs of previous spirits pop up as fun fan service. This is a must watch for the halloween times & it’s a great movie to start off with regarding the warrens.
