  this had the vibe of a sequel that came out in the 2000s where the first movie was really good and everyone hated the second one but i grew up watching the second one all the time bc i had it on dvd and i loved it and didnt understand why everyone hated it but then when i get older i watch it again for the first time in ages and im like ohhh
