  Walkabout is a beautiful 70s movie that nicely juxtapositions traditional Australian indigenous living with the white Australian population to highlight the similarities and sad differences between the two.
  The start is a bit slow and the set-up a bit dumb, but once you're introduced to the indigenous boy who serves as a guide and beacon of hope for the lost white children it picks up a lot.
  For a 70s movie it's interesting how it shows the traditional Australian living…
