Kyle Whitfield’s review published on Letterboxd:
An incredibly personal and moving story. The sadder aspects of life - grief, disappointment, betrayal, regrets- they are a language that we all speak. If only we would speak it.
I didn’t expect to love this one with its runtime, and subject matter, but it’s craft is undeniable. As an English speaker it’s difficult to connect with a foreign language script, but the writing is so well done. Performances are also spectacular across the board.
I’ve recently been moving in a direction in life where I try to look back less. Loss is a part of life, and something we very rarely have control over. This film helped me on that journey.
