Visually pleasing with a dank bass heavy score. Was almost holding back tears at a certain scene tbh

A lot goes on in this film it feels like Brad Pitt's character is just constantly facing a new challenge and successfully overcoming it, but it never seems too unnatural - and I honestly don't know a good alternative to replace any of those scenes because I did enjoy them.
There are some cliches but that is hard to completely avoid, the major one that comes to my mind first was giving the audience updates and information via news casts…
-A lot of the CGI seems cartoony and out of place in some scenes, most notably the old lady scene.
-The only horror is pennywise doing spooky things, not even too many Jumpscares; and whenever suspense slightly builds up its destroyed by humor
-The movie holds your hand in a lot of scenes where it would feel more rewarding if the viewer could connect those pieces themselves (Tomahawk in the library scene)
