Hooptober Se7en - disease based film (3/3)
An infestation of cockroaches is rapidly spreading a disease that is killing children but a team of scientists manage to find a cure (in the form of a new bug called the Judas breed). Sometimes it’s not the disease you must fear but the vaccine/cure. The Judas bug begins to mutate rapidly and starts to mimic its predator. Full of gross bug effects, slime, ooze, and subway grime, this is one of those late 90s sci-fi creature features that may not be high quality but are perfect for a low key movie night. Didn’t these scientists attend high school biology? Pretty sure suddenly introducing a new species to an ecosystem leads to a bad time.
