I guess my expectations were too high going into this - after Get Out.
I just wasn't expecting a movie that was heavy on standard horror tropes and, as a whole, a little all over the place.
On the plus side, the family actors did a fine job, the humor was on point, and Jordan Peele proves himself to be a director reaching cult status regardless of my personal opinion on this.
