As someone interested in the work of Delia Derbyshire and White Noise I was really looking forward to this. Sadly it's a mess. Doesn't work well as a drama or a documentary.

An empathetic tale of loneliness and belonging, turning into something more ugly and terrifying. Heartbreakingly real.

Definitely want to see the TV sequels now
