this movie has a special place in my heart. as i was watching it i saw similarities in how my mom and i act with each other like lady bird does with her mom. it hit home for me and i think it’s a fantastic coming of age movie but also a fantastic depiction of mother daughter relationships and how important they can be for them both. i definitely walked out of the theatre thinking about my mom and how much i love her and how i should take it easy on her even when she gets on my nerves.
