JAWSH’s review published on Letterboxd:
Burning is outstanding. Based on the short story by Haruki Murakami, Burning is a slow-burn, anxious tale about young adulthood in South Korea.
What’s particularly remarkable about Burning is its a turning point in “international” cinema. It’s themes and pathos are completely universal. It’s got a completely cathartic message when it comes to to how it sees the current state of the world.
Burning flows up to a boiling point and its one of the best films of 2018.
