The height of art is the 2003 film Matchstick Men, starring Nicholas Cage. It's completely devoid of artistic value, yet more enjoyable to watch than most movies. In this regard it is post:ideological—fundamentally capturing the refined philosophy (or rather, lack thereof) of 2025, while aesthetically embodying the simple culture of the sweet summer children of 2003. To be ahead of one's time while relating to those native to that same time is a feat accomplished by no other artist.
