Ahhh Noah Baumbach, you never fail to amaze me with your work. Even though this was my second film from the director there was no doubt I had an absolutely great time with this movie.
Right off the bat I just have to say I will probably rewatch this much later on, probably not anytime soon but I will again in the future. I say this because I feel Frances ha is the type of film to really grow on you long after you’ve seen it. You really just gotta sit back and take it in.
There will be many people who’ll find nothing g great about this movie but for others the film might strike a different chord and it come mean something special for them.
Elegantly crafted by Noah Baumbach, who also co-wrote the film along side lead actress Great Gerwig, Frances Ha is a film that is beautifully directed, brilliantly written and expertly executed on screen. The film also boasts a remarkable sense of humour making the movie a fun little piece of work for the audience to enjoy.
The heart and soul for Frances Ha is no doubt Great Gerwig, she is absolutely brilliant as Frances and she ends up delivering such an endearing performance which is solely responsible for the warm feeling the film gives off.
Overall Frances Ha is a fun film which could also leave an impact on you based on how you approach this movie. Nevertheless it’s definitely worth checking out.
